Amphora Wine

More than 8000 years ago farmers in Georgia were producing wine in unglazed clay amphora – the so-called Quevris. We have rediscovered and refined this ancient technique of vinification. The soil, in which our wine grow, also envelops the tonamophores, in which the mash of strictly selected grapes transforms into wine. After several months in the sealed Quevris, the gentle pressing of the wine and further ripening in the wooden barrel takes place. Our amphora wine is unfiltered and natural, due to the deliberate elimination of elaborate cellar technology, we sense the soul of the wine and preserve its originality.
